Opportunity

Iberdrola Ingenieria & Construcción Mexico, part of the Spanish group Iberdrola, selected SPG Solar’s SunSeeker tracker for Mexico’s largest solar power project. The 5 megawatt (MW) PV installation is in Cerro Prieto, Mexico and owned by CFE, the state-owned electric utility company of Mexico.

Solution

SPG Solar’s shipped the single-axis tracker and consulted during the installation, which will fulfill 60 percent – or 3 megawatts – of the 5-MW project.

Result

The SunSeeker tracker is known for its high performance, ease of install and reliability. This will be the largest PV installation in Mexico at time of completion.
