States Logistics Services, Inc. is the premier third party provider on the west coast offering logistics, warehousing, transportation and packaging services. They saw the opportunity and the economics to upgrade their distribution center with solar and realized the benefit of promoting sustainability and influencing the entire food and beverage supply chain.

A customized roof solar power system, which powers nearly the entire 300,000 square foot facility. Not only is States Logistics Services saving on their electricity bill monthly and fixing their energy costs in the long term, but they are also continuing their environmental stewardship.

This solar project provides savings and adds to State Logistics prior sustainable initiatives – plastic recycling program, energy saving lighting system and a biodiesel truck fleet.

“It was the reliable and dedicated partnership with SPG Solar that enabled us to easily go solar. We are already seeing the benefits today and the payoffs will continue to increase into the future.”Daniel Monson, CFO States Logistics Services
