US Foods, one of the largest broadline foodservice distributors of national, private label and signature brand items in the United States, was looking for an opportunity to invest in a clean technology with a strong return, while more efficiently serving customers and continuing environmental stewardship.

A customized roof and carport solar power system, seamlessly installed with no interruption to daily operations, allowed US Foods to showcase its commitment to sustainability while reducing costs. By going solar, US Foods demonstrates to their customers that any goods purchased are coming from a sustainable, conscious company.

By converting the rooftop and carport of US Foods’ distribution center in solar power genearators, they are lowering their operating costs and showing their customers that US Foods is a leader in sustainability.
