The total size of each solar system depends on the unique energy use pattern of each family, not on the square footage of the home. The size of the system is determined by an assessment of a family’s energy usage over one year.

A SPG Solar, Inc. (SPG) Energy Consultant will visit a home site, analyze a years’ worth of electric utility bills, and provide a free energy use assessment.

SPG may also recommend energy conservation measures, where appropriate, to bring down energy demand before the solar system is designed, shrinking the size of the solar system.
